Living the 888 Life & My Journey as an Agentforce Specialist ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธโš™๏ธ

Chasing That 888 Balance ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

I first wrote about 888 on 2024-08-07 โ€” that whole โ€œlife mantra to slow downโ€ thing ๐Ÿข.
But looking back... lifeโ€™s been anything but slow ๐Ÿ˜‚.

So apparently my โ€œ8-hour shiftโ€ is actually 9 hours including breaks. Like brooo, I thought I was done after 8 ๐Ÿ˜ญ. And I have to stay logged in for at least 6 active hours or else a random audit mail goes flying to my manager ๐Ÿซ .
Even if I wrap up early, my managerโ€™s chilling in another timezone โ€” so Iโ€™m still kinda โ€œonlineโ€ waiting for reviews.

Honestly, I should just build an app to enforce this 888 lifestyle for real ๐Ÿ’ก.

Right now itโ€™s not too bad since Iโ€™m new at work, so itโ€™s kinda balanced:

Corporate really needs to chill.
My dream is to be so efficient that even when things get crazy, I can still stick to the 888 mantra.

Agentforce Specialist ๐Ÿ’ผ

Big win recently โ€” I became an Agentforce Specialist! ๐ŸŽ‰
Basically, it means I can build custom AI agents in Salesforce that actually do stuff for businesses.

I spent hours going through the modules, learning how Agents and Prompts work, and testing things out.
For context:

Prompt Builders rely heavily on the prompt quality and can hallucinate sometimes when dataโ€™s unclear.
Agents, on the other hand, are structured with Topics, Instructions, Scopes, and Actions โ€” these define how the agent decides what to do and when.

Actions are the tools the agent uses โ€” they can be built using Flows, Apex classes, APIs, or invocable actions depending on what you want the agent to do.

I also got hands-on with Sales, Service, Commerce, Marketing, and Data Cloud while learning โ€” super cool experience.

Not gonna lie, I did get help from friends and some notes ๐Ÿ˜… but hey, I passed and learned a ton.
Finally got my first Salesforce cert โ€” and Iโ€™m hyped to use this to build smart agents that help businesses work faster and smarter ๐Ÿš€.

Iโ€™m currently working on the Security part of Salesforce, and itโ€™s taking a bit of time because of the Superbadges. Iโ€™m planning to complete it soon along with the Admin part of Salesforce. The Admin trailmix includes the same Security-related Superbadge, so Iโ€™m waiting for the right mood to kick in so I can focus and finish it properly ๐Ÿ˜….

Iโ€™ve also been allocated to the Field Service Lightning (FSL) part of Salesforce. Itโ€™s completely new to me, but Iโ€™m determined to complete it since my job depends on it. The Security and Admin modules have been stuck for almost a month now, but Iโ€™ll get them done soon for sure ๐Ÿ’ช.

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ Wrapping Up

Still chasing that 888 balance โ€” but now, Iโ€™m doing it with a little Salesforce magic. โœจ
